THE FULLERTON MAKES A SPLASH IN CONDÉ NAST TRAVELLER

SINGAPORE, February 10, 2006: The Fullerton Hotel Singapore’s very own infinity swimming pool is featured in the February 2006 issue of Condé Nast Traveller (UK), as one of the world’s most spectacular infinity pools.

Built as part of the Fullerton Building’s transformation into a luxury hotel in 2001, this 25- metre epitome of aquatic relaxation seamlessly overlooks the Singapore River on the horizon, with a bird’s eye view of the cultural venues of Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall, Asian Civilisations Museum and Boat Quay. Located on the second storey of The Fullerton Hotel, the outdoor pool spans the west-side of the building, flanked by 20-foot high Doric columns.

As one of the top ten infinity pools in the world compiled by prestigious travel publication Condé Nast Traveller (UK), it offers guests the unique experience of basking by a Palladian-style heritage landmark against a modern landscape.

Also featured in the 10-page spread are chic hotels and resorts from around the world, including Mexico’s Las Ventanas al Paraiso; Hawaii’s Halekulani; New Zealand’s Blanket Bay; The Beverly Hills Hotel in California; the Bali COMO Shambhala Estate at Begawan Giri; South Africa’s Londolozi Founders Camp; Greece’s Perivolas; The Raleigh in Miami, Florida; and Banyan Tree, Seychelles.
