THE FULLERTON HOTEL SINGAPORE TOPS CONDÉ NAST TRAVELER GOLD LIST 2007’S SINGAPORE CATEGORY
SINGAPORE, January 3, 2007: The Fullerton Hotel Singapore has clinched the top spot in the Singapore category of Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List for an impressive second time in three years.
With an overall score of 96.6, including a perfect score of 100 for design, The Fullerton Hotel is rated the highest amongst 10 Singapore hotels listed in the Gold List 2007. The annual list is based on data gathered from the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Survey, where The Fullerton was recently voted the Best Hotel in Asia in the 19th Readers’ Choice Awards.
Commented Mr Louis Sailer, General Manager of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, “We are very appreciative of the recognition that the discerning readers of Condé Nast Traveler have given us. This accolade starts us off on a winning note for 2007 and we will continue to work towards an understanding of our guests’ needs in order to offer them a superior product coupled with personalized experiences in the year ahead.”
Over 21,000 subscribers responded to the Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Survey, a comprehensive study of consumer preferences in which subscribers evaluated more than 3,000 of the best properties, airlines, cruise lines, car rental agencies and destinations. Hotels were judged on rooms, service, food, location and design, and had to receive a set minimum number of responses from subscribers who rated them either ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’ in these areas, in order to be ranked.
